Communications Division 

The communications division within the police department is comprised of 4 communications officers with a wide spectrum of responsibility.  Each works the assigned shifts of day-swing-grave or relief shift to cover the 24 hour period of each day, 365 days a year.  Their main duties are to answer phones, lobby contact, case entry, prisoner supervision and base to car radio contact with police officers and other law enforcement agencies county and statewide.
