Disc Golf

Grandview residents and visitors are encourage to try the newly established disc golf course at Dykstra Park.  The start of the 9 hole course, or Tee #1, can be found just east of the Rotary Picnic Shelter.  Participants are asked to use the Euclid Road entrance into the asphalt parking area.

Disc golf is a family friendly sport for all age groups and skill abilities. The object of the game is to advance through the course by tossing a disc into each goal in the few amount of tosses as possible.  There are different discs that are used for different distances ranging from a driver, mid-range and putter.

Discs are available to be checked out at the Parks and Recreation Office (509-882-9218). Your Parks and Recreation staff will gladly provide you with a brief orientation to familiarize yourself with this fun and worthwhile activity.  Give it a try!
