Country Park is located at 812
Wallace Way in Grandview. The site encompasses 15 acres of parkland and allows
for easy access from I-82. It features a beautiful Amphitheater facility that
includes a 38 X 60 stage, a dressing room area, a 44 X 48 concrete platform
apron and grass hillside seating for 2,000-4,000 individuals. The park also
houses the Beavan Building with picnic shelter accommodations available.
It offers three ball fields with restroom facilities and two dugouts.
Country Park offers an extensive parking lot that will accommodate large
groups and spectators. Adjacent to the park sets the National Guard
Armory, which compliments the overall function and service of the site.
The park is home to our community's annual Yakima Valley
Fair and Rodeo! The facility is
available for rental and permit forms can be obtained by calling the Parks and
Recreation Office at (509) 882-9219.
