GMC 2.68.040 Public Records Index.
The City of Grandview will not maintain an index of government records pursuant to RCW 42.56.070 as such record keeping would be unduly burdensome on the City and it’s limited resources of funds and personnel to maintain such an index of records.
GMC 2.68.050 Public Records Officer – Appointment and duties.
1. The City Clerk is designated as the public records officer for the City of Grandview.
2. The public records officer shall:
a. Serve as a point of contact for members of the public in requesting disclosure of public records;
b. Oversee compliance with the public records disclosure requirements of the public disclosure law of the State of Washington as now or hereafter amended (currently in Chapter 42.56 RCW);
c. Publish his or her name and contact information in a way reasonably calculated to provide notice to the public, including posting at City Hall and other City buildings, posting on the City’s internet website and inclusion in City publications.
