NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

CITY OF GRANDVIEW

TRANSPORTATION BENEFIT DISTRICT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Grandview City Council in the council chamber located at City Hall, 207  West Second Street, Grandview, on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. 

The purpose of the public hearing is to consider establishment of a Transportation Benefit District to exercise those powers set forth in RCW 36.73 and the levying of additional revenue sources for transportation improvements within the district. 

Comments may also be submitted in writing to the City of Grandview, 207 West Second Street, Grandview, WA  98930 until February 22, 2011 at 4:30 p.m.  The Grandview City Hall is handicap accessible.  Arrangements to reasonably accommodate special needs, including handicap accessibility or interpreter, will be made upon receiving 24-hour advance notice.  Contact City Clerk Anita Palacios at (509) 882-9208, located at Grandview City Hall at 207 West Second Street.

ESTE AVISO SE HACE de que una audiencia pblica se llevar acabo por el Consejo de Grandview en el cuarto del consejo que est localizado en la Oficina de la Ciudad de Grandview en el 207 West Second Street el martes, 22 de febrero del 2011 a las 7:00 p.m. 

El propsito de la audiencia pblica es para considerar el establecimiento de un Distrito de Beneficio de Transporte para ejercitar esas energas dispuestas en RCW 36.73 y la recaudacin de las fuentes de rdito adicionales para las mejoras del transporte dentro del distrito.

CITY OF GRANDVIEW

NOTICE OF DETERMINATION OF NONSIGNIFICANCE

 

The City of Grandview issued a Determination of Nonsignificance (DNS) under the State Environmental Policy Act Rules (Chapter 197-11 WAC) for the following project:

 

Description of proposal: Installation of 3 zone belt dryer and fluid bed dryer

 

Proponent: FruitSmart, Inc.

 

Location of proposal, including street address, if any: 201 N. Euclid, Grandview, Washington

 

Lead agency:  City of Grandview

 

After review of a completed Environmental Checklist and other information on file with the agency, the City of Grandview has determined this proposal will not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment.

 

Copies of the DNS are available at no charge from the City Clerk's Office, City Hall, 207 West Second Street, Grandview, WA 98930.  The public is invited to comment on this DNS by submitting written comments no later than Wednesday, February 23, 2011, to Cus Arteaga, City Administrator-Public Works Director at the above address.

CITY OF GRANDVIEW

CALL FOR BIDS TO SUPPLY VEHICLE FUEL

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Grandview, Washington, will receive sealed bids at the office of the City Clerk, 207 West Second Street, Grandview, WA 98930, until 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 9, 2011, for providing vehicle fuel using a card controlled fuel purchase system. 

 

The City uses approximately 42,500 gallons of gasoline and diesel fuel per year.  The bids shall be for the year beginning April 1, 2011 to March 31, 2012.

 

Bids must comply with the "Instruction to Bidders" and be submitted in envelopes marked "Fuel Bid".  Bid packets are available from the City Clerk at the above address, PH: (509) 882-9208.

 

The City of Grandview reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
